Welcome out of town guests
March 15th, 2006Welcome to Chicago, our favorite city in the world! We are so happy that you are able to join the wedding festivities and are honored that you have traveled to share in this special time in our life together. For your convenience, here is a recap of the weekend’s planned events:
Friday, March 17th at 7 p.m. – Bogumila and Roman Kucharski look forward to your attending dinner at Pops for Champagne, 2934 North Sheffield (at the corner of Sheffield and Oakdale). If you are staying downtown in the Loop, it would be most convenient to take a taxi, which will take around 15 minutes and cost approximately $12.00 (excluding tip). You may also take the Brown Line “L” train. You can catch the “L” at the Madison station on Wabash at Madison St.. Take the train North (towards Kimball) and get off at Wellington. Turn left (West) out of the station and walk half a block on Wellington to Sheffield, turn left (South) on Sheffield and walk about a block. Pops will be on the right (West) side of the street. The ride should take around 20 minutes and costs $1.75 per person. Please see the enclosed CTA map for your reference. Valet parking will be available for a cost of $8.
Saturday, March 18th at 5:30 p.m. – The wedding will take place in Cathedral Hall (ninth floor) at the University Club at 76 East Monroe Street. The reception and dinner will follow.
Sunday, March 19th from 10 a.m. 12:30 p.m. – Gloria and John Levin are delighted to have you join them for a buffet brunch in the President’s Bar (second floor) at the University Club.
We also hope you will take some time to enjoy Chicago! We have enclosed a public transportation and street map, as well as this week’s edition of Time Out Chicago, which will tell you about all of this weekend’s happenings! We’ve also included a Starbuck’s gift card and biscotti, so you can have a nosh.
